HNP Capital Fund Management LLC manages the HNP Growth and Preservation Fund (HNPKX). The fund consistently interprets and responds to market trends and seeks to capitalize on positive momentum, minimizing risk. The fund's investment strategy is based on the belief that price action is more important than prediction. The fund employs an algorithm that ranks broad based indices. When an investment is above value, the algorithm triggers a buy signal. When an investment is below value, a sell signal is triggered and assets are moved to cash, creating flexibility in portfolio risk management and protecting the portfolio from bear markets. This strategy allows the fund to be fully in cash, partially invested or fully invested based on market trends. Under normal market conditions, the HNP Growth and Preservation Fund invests in a group of ETFs, ETNs and/or money market funds. The underlying ETFs generally invest in, and the underlying ETNs generally track indices related to, equity securities, fixed-income securities, real estate investment trusts (REITs) and commodities. HNP Capital Fund Management allocates assets among these categories based on their proprietary risk return screening model. They may also allocate assets to ETFs that hold and ETNs that track indices that are comprised of small and medium sized companies based on their proprietary risk return screening model. The fund's investment strategy includes both growth and value style investing. The fund may invest in ETFs that hold, and ETNs that track, foreign securities and ADRs. In addition, the fund may engage in short-term trading.
