David Whitcomb Karr

Mr. David W.
Karr is a Chairman at Equitable Advisors LLC.
He is a member of the Equitable Operating Committee.
As head of Equitable Advisors, Mr. Karr drives its growth strategy and oversees all facets of the business including sales, marketing, operations, technology and service.
Previously, Mr. Karr served as Managing Director and Co-President of Karr Barth Associates, Inc., Equitable Advisors’ Philadelphia branch.
In that role, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization.
He has deep expertise in wealth management, executive benefit programs, digital tools and talent development.
He graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
