Eunsung Seo

Eunsung has over sixteen years of experience working in the automotive and shipping industries and managing alternative investments.
Prior to joining IPM Asset Management, Eunsung was the Head of Business Planning at SK Rent-a-Car.
His responsibilities included business strategy, managing corporate finance and budgeting, M&A, global licensing, and investor relations.
Eunsung managed the company’s IPO in KOSPI and developed new business models, including car-sharing, a used car distribution platform, auto-auction, auto-camping, and bike leasing.
He also led the company’s overseas expansion by setting up subsidiary companies in the US, Vietnam, and Kazakhstan and negotiated global licensing deals with Avis Budget Group, ORIX Corporation, and Enterprise Holdings.
Eunsung previously worked as the head of Ship Finance at HI Investment & Securities.
He established and managed equity, mezzanine, and sub-loan funds with an aggregate value of US$673m for container and bulk ships.
Eunsung also helped manage a US$500m International Logistics Infrastructure Fund and a US$55m Ship Financing Fund as an assistant asset manager at KB Asset Management.
Eunsung holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from SungKyunKwan University in Seoul and is a Certified Investment Manager in Korea.
