Gary Shansby is a Senior Advisor of Bookend Capital Partners.
Mr. Shansby is a pioneer in consumer products private equity and has personally led the development of more than fifty successful consumer brands.
He is the co-founder and former Chairman of TSG Consumer Partners (formerly known as The Shansby Group).
Over his 21 years there, TSG completed investments in such brands as Famous Amos, Vitaminwater, Terra Chips, Mauna Loa, Smart Balance, Pureology and Muscle Milk.
Mr. Shansby is also the founder, Chairman and CEO of Tequila Partida, a multi-national Mexican-produced ultra-premium tequila.
Mr. Shansby was formerly Chairman and CEO of Shaklee Corporation, at the time a Fortune 500, NYSE-listed multi-national company.
Mr. Shansby previously served in marketing and management positions at Colgate-Palmolive and The Clorox Company.
He received his BA from the University of Washington, where he endowed a Chair in Marketing Strategy and was Chairman of the Foster Graduate School of Business board.
