John Garrett

Mr. John B. Garrett is a Managing Director & Head of Hedge Fund Sales at Moelis & Co. Australia Pty Ltd. Mr. Garrett has extensive experience in the financial industry across property investment sales, equity research, sales trading, risk arbitrage, long/short and special situations.
Most recently, Mr. Garrett was Head of Hedge Fund Sales at UBS Investment Bank.
Mr. Garrett joined UBS in 1996 as a REIT analyst on the Australian Equities Research team and was responsible for REIT trading/sales from 1997 through 2002.
Between 2002 and 2007, Mr. Garrett was Head of Sales Trading at UBS.
Mr. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Business in Property/Valuation and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
He is also an Accredited Level 1 and Level 2 Derivatives Advisor on the Australian Stock Exchange.
