John R. Sluis

John R.
Sluis joined Cepheid as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer in July 2002.
He was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Vysis from June 2000 to February 2002 and held various senior financial management positions at Sanofi Diagnostics from 1989 to 1999.
Mr. Sluis was Chief Financial Officer of North American Operations for Sanofi Diagnostics from 1989 to 1994, Chief Financial Officer of Worldwide Operations from 1994 to 1997 and Chief Executive Officer of North American Operations from 1997 to 1999.
From 1985 to 1988, he was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Gen-Probe, Inc. Mr. Sluis held various financial management positions at American Hospital Supply Corporation from 1974 to 1985 and was Vice President and Controller of the American Dade Division from 1980 to 1985.
