Mr. Tumbler was appointed Senior Vice President of Caprin in 2004 and heads the firm's Chevy Chase, Maryland, office.
His prior experience includes 15 years as Vice President with Legg Mason's Public Finance Department in Baltimore.
Prior to that he was Director of Government Relations and manager of the Public Securities Association's (now the Bond Market Association) Washington D.C., office.
Professional experience also includes various positions including Special Assistant to the President in The White House, Director of Government Relations at the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, Special Assistant to the Secretary at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Legislative Assistant in the U.S.
House of Representatives and Management Intern in the Department of Health, Education and Welfare.
Mr. Tumbler is a 1970 graduate of Oregon State University with a BS in Political Science.
