Kohkan Shamsi

Dr. Shamsi's experience and network of relationships in the Imaging and i-CRO domain will be helpful to the ECRON AcuNova team in becoming a leader in this space Dr. Shamsi is an MD in Radiodiagnosis from Aligarh Muslim University and he was awarded Ph.D.
by University of Antwerp, Belgium.
Dr. Shamsi has published over 90 papers in indexed journals.
Dr. Shamsi started his career as a Radiologist with Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia followed by a 3 year stint in Antwerp University Hospital, Belgium.
On completion of his doctorate, he worked as Research Physician in Diagnostic Imaging with Schering AG, Berlin, Germany for about 5 years.
Then He moved to the USA to work at Berlex Inc. New Jersey, USA (a subsidiary of Schering) where he has worked for about 8 years as Senior Associate Director, Clinical Development and rose to the position of Head, Medical Development of Diagnostic Imaging & Radio pharmaceuticals & Head of Global Medical Imaging.
He has lead and provided medical/radiology guidance for the development and functioning of Global Medical Imaging.
