Confindustria Umbria is the principal industrial association representing manufacturing and service companies in the Umbria region. Established in 2013 through the merger of the Perugia and Terni industrial associations, it is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit organization affiliated with the national Confindustria system. It offers a range of services to its members, including legal and regulatory advice, labor and social security support, environmental and energy guidance, industrial relations, European project management, marketing, communication, and human resource management through its service company, Confindustria Umbria Servizi. The company is based in Perugia, Italy. The association comprises about 900 to 1,000 member companies employing over 45,000 people and is structured into eight territorial sections and fourteen category sections, including specialized groups such as the Small Industry Committee, Young Entrepreneurs Group, and the Umbria Aerospace Cluster. Its mission centers on promoting the value of industry as a key driver of regional development and community growth by supporting member companies in becoming more competitive and internationally oriented. Confindustria Umbria emphasizes innovation, internationalization, training, finance, sustainability, and digital transformation, and fosters ESG best practices. The association organizes events, webinars, training courses, and initiatives on topics such as digitalization, sustainability, gender equality, and innovation.
