Lindsay T. Lewellen

Lindsay Lewellen is a Managing Director Partner of WSC Heritage and leads its middle market private equity investment strategy.
Over the past two decades Lindsay has built a career focused on investing in, advising and operating companies primarily in the lower middle market.
He has broad experience across tech-enabled businesses; value-added distribution; healthcare; business, industrial and government services; precision manufacturing; consumer products; start-ups; and operational turnarounds.
Prior to launching WSC Heritage with Alex and the WSC Team, Lindsay served as Partner at Copeley Capital in Charlotte where he was involved in all elements of the middle market investment lifecycle.
He has also served in a variety of roles that include CEO of a precision manufacturer; one of the first investment professionals at Excellere Partners; CEO of a healthcare services business; a variety of board directorships; and early positions in leveraged finance and investment banking.
Lindsay holds a degree in Finance from Oklahoma State University, where he was the first Wentz Research Scholar from the College of Business and a member of the President’s Leadership Council.
He is married with four children; a fan of OSU sports; a multi-instrumentalist (guitar and banjo); a luthier of clawhammer banjos; and a reader of almost anything.
