Manabu Kaburaki

Manabu Kaburaki is a Managing Director of the Carlyle Japan buyout advisory team.
He is based in Tokyo.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Kaburaki was a Managing Director of Lone Star Funds for five years where he originated real estate and corporate investments.
Prior to Lone Star, Mr. Kaburaki worked in investment banking for ten years at Goldman Sachs and led real estate banking and consumer sector coverage in Japan.
Prior to that, Mr. Kaburaki worked in investment banking and fixed income investment at Mizuho Financial Group (ex-Industrial Bank of Japan).
Mr. Kaburaki received his M.B.A.
from University of Rochester.
He received a B.E.
from University of Tokyo.
