East Capital was formed in 2000 by East Capital Holding and Swedfund, the Swedish state's private equity company, to manage a private equity fund. In 2003, they became the wholly-owned subsidiary of East Capital Holding. Headquartered in Stockholm, the firm manages the East Capital Amber Fund and the East Capital Financials Fund for direct and indirect private investors and institutions worldwide.
