Oliver Warren McMahon

Mr. Oliver W.
McMahon, CFA, is a Senior Portfolio Manager of Quantitative Investments at RBC Global Asset Management, Inc. He specializes in the management of quantitative equity mandates at RBC Global Asset Management Inc. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Mr. McMahon headed the product management team for the Canadian arm of one of the world’s largest investment management firms researching, designing, and creating new ETFs.
For the prior four years, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at the same firm, developing stock-picking models for Canadian long-only and long-short equity strategies.
He began his career in London, England at a global bank responsible for managing quantitative UK and European equity strategies, and in 2003, he joined a large Canadian bank as a Portfolio Manager implementing alpha generation and risk reduction strategies for quantitative Canadian and U.S.
stock portfolios.
He holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of East London and became a CFA charterholder in 2003.
