Since 1977, he has been investing in the securities markets of Latin America, Asia, and Europe, making him a pioneer of global markets investing.
Mr. Gruber is widely recognized as one of the leading developing markets money managers in the world.
He has managed top-performing investment strategies in global markets for over two decades-- through the thinly-traded and widely-ignored markets of the 1970's, the debt crises and political turmoil of the 1980's, and the rapid-paced transformations in those markets in the 1990's.
Prior to 1977, He spent his career in investment banking, brokerage, and money management on Wall Street.
Mr. Gruber relocated to St. Thomas, U.S.
Virgin Islands, in 1995, moving Globalvest's headquarters there from Berkeley, California.
