R. G. Kahoe

Mr. Kahoe joined LEÓN, MAYER & Co. in May 2008.
Prior to joining Leon Mayer, Mr. Kahoe was an associate at Goldman Properties, a real estate development firm that focuses on restoring, rejuvenating and re-inventing historic mixed-use neighborhoods.
Mr. Kahoe worked on residential, commercial, hotel, retail & restaurant projects in SOHO, NYC; South Beach and Wynwood, Miami; Midtown Village, Philadelphia; and Boston.
Mr. Kahoe’s primary focus was the Boston Wharf project, a 17 building, 1.1 million SF historical mixed-use neighborhood redevelopment project in Boston.
Mr. Kahoe focused on a wide range of development activities including residential, retail and commercial financial underwriting, branding, marketing, public relations, leasing and asset management.
In addition, Mr. Kahoe restructured the financial and business analysis systems of Goldman Properties and acted as a liaison between Goldman Properties and its institutional partners, Goldman Sachs’ Whitehall Fund and the Archon Group.
At his departure, the Boston Wharf Portfolio was outperforming all investment goals and was on trajectory to exceed all return hurdles upon project completion.
Prior to Goldman Properties, Mr. Kahoe was an assistant architect with New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development, where he worked on small and large project reviews identifying project feasibility, design efficiency and building code compliance for publicly funded, mixed-use private development projects.
Mr. Kahoe received his M.S.
in Real Estate with a concentration in Finance from New York University.
He holds a certificate in Urban Design from Columbia University and he graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a joint B.A. in Architecture and Urban Studies.
He is also an alumnus of the Lawrenceville School.
