Robert V.
Mendelsohn is currently the Director of the Association Internationale pour l'Etude de l'Economie.
He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of RSA Insurance Group Ltd. and Royal Insurance Group, Inc. from 1997 to 2002 and 1993 to 1997, respectively.
He was also the President & Chief Operating Officer of W.R.
Berkley Corp.
from 1974 to 1993.
Mendelsohn served as the Non-Executive Chairman of The Navigators Group, Inc. from 2015 to 2019.
He has also held positions as Chairman of the American Insurance Association, Inc., Director of the International Insurance Society, Inc., and Director of The Geneva Association.
Mendelsohn received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his graduate degree from Harvard Law School.
