Samuel Oni

Samuel Oni is currently the Chairman at Abbey Mortgage Bank Plc.
He is also a Fellow at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (Nigeria).
In his former positions, Mr. Oni served as an Independent Non-Executive Director at United Bank for Africa Plc.
He was also a Deputy Director at the Central Bank of Nigeria.
From 2009 to 2011, he held the position of Director-Banking Supervision at the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Additionally, he worked as the Chief Accountant at Kwara Breweries Ltd., an Accountant at Defence Industries Corp.
of Nigeria, and as the Secretary & Accountant at Abiola & Sons Bottling Co. Ltd.Mr. Oni obtained an MBA from the University of Ilorin.
