Silvio Giovannini

Mr. Silvio A. Giovannini, CFA, is a Head Portfolio Management & Advisory at BG Valeur SA. He spent over 14 years at Credit Suisse in Switzerland.
In the first part of his professional career, he worked as an Investment Consultant in the Private Banking Division and in 2004 he moved to Zurich as Product Sales.
In 2005, he returned to Ticino within the Investment Consulting Group (IC), where he had various specialist functions such as the creation and distribution of structured products, and investment fund specialists.
From 2007, he held different management roles, first of the IC team in Chiasso, following the Products team in Lugano, and then he took up the role of Head of Investment Consulting Services for the Italian market and Monaco in 2013.
He graduated in Political Economy at the University of St. Gallen in 2001 and is a CFA charter holder since 2006.
