Mr. Yuan Cheng, CFA, is Executive Director at Nomura Global Alpha LLC.
Prior to joining Nomura in November 2011, Mr. Cheng was with the credit proprietary trading group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
From 2000 to 2007, he worked in Fixed Income department at Morgan Stanley and was a Manager at Thomson Financial Services LLC.
He has been an AFS board member for the last seven years, and was elected AFS president in 2009 and 2010.
Mr. Cheng holds a B.S.
in Computer Science from Peking University, and an M.S.
in Computer Science from University of Pittsburgh.
He is a CFA charterholder.
