Carol Sands is the founder of Sands Marketingplus, founded in 1987.

Ms. Sands also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Saratoga Ventures, Ernst & Young LLP (Missouri), Xerox, New Vista Capital LLC, M31 USA LLC, and Global Womens Leadership Network in various roles.
She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa in 1972.
