Christopher Tama

Chris has 23 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in various marketing, sales and general management positions.
Since Joining PDI in 2000, Chris has served as the Executive Vice President of PDI and General Manager of PDI, Pharmaceutical Products Group.
Prior to joining PDI, Chris held several senior leadership positions at major pharmaceutical companies.
At Novartis, Chris was the Vice President of the CNS Therapeutic Area franchise.
Under his leadership the unit launched several new therapies and grew the business to the third largest CNS portfolio in the world.
Before joining Novartis, Chris was Vice President of Marketing, US Operations for Searle where he was responsible for the US product portfolio including Calan SR, Daypro, Ambien, Arthrotec and Cytotec.
Chris started his career with Pharmacia as a Sales Representative and held several sales and marketing management positions of increasing responsibility throughout his 13 years with the company.
Chris's career at Pharmacia includes a three-year assignment at the company's headquarters in Uppsala, Sweden where he was a member of an international product marketing team.
Chris earned his B.A. in Economics from Villanova University, a post-graduate certificate from Columbia University and is a guest lecturer at St. Joseph's Graduate School of Business, Pharmaceutical MBA.
