Dennis D.
Dammerman held several positions throughout his career.
He was the Chairman & CEO of GE Capital Services from 1998 to 2005, and also served as Chairman of General Electric Capital Services, Inc. during the same period.
He was Vice Chairman of General Electric Co. in 2005.
Dammerman was also Chairman of Discover Financial Services from 2007 to 2009, and Chairman of Bluestem Group, Inc. from 2006 to 2010.
He served as a Director for American International Group, Inc. from 2008 to 2010, and was a Director for BlackRock, Inc. from 2005 to 2011.
Additionally, he held various director positions in other organizations such as The Adirondack Trust Co., Genworth Financial, Inc., The New York Racing Association, Inc., and Mortgage Investments LLC.
Dammerman started his career as Vice President & Controller of General Electric Capital Corp.
and was a Member of the Management Board of Schweizerische Rückversicherungs-Gesellschaft AG.
He also served as a Trustee for Skidmore College.
Dammerman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Dubuque in 1967.
