He was also the President of United, Inc. from 1993 to 2011 and President of United Management, Inc. from 1991 to 1993.
Prior to that, he held the position of Vice President-Corporate Development at Turbo Resources Ltd. from 1978 to 1980, President of United Management Ltd. from 1984 to 1991, and President of L.K.

Mr. Douglas obtained an undergraduate degree from the University of Alberta in 1972 and an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development in 1976.
