Mr. Douglas E.
White, CFA MBA, is a Senior Vice President at Winslow, Evans & Crocker, Inc. Mr. White is a manager.
In this capacity, he provides market and economic overviews and investment strategies for the Registered Investment Advisors and Financial Planners of the firm.
Additionally, he chairs the firm’s Investment Policy Committee and is responsible for asset allocation and fund manager selections for the Winslow Preferred Portfolios.
For the past twenty-five years, Mr. White has provided separate account, individually tailored portfolio management services for his clients.
By using a top down view of markets and economies in combination with a bottom up analysis of sectors and industries, he builds portfolios of tax-free and taxable income securities and equities to meet the investment objectives of individuals and trusts.
Prior to joining Winslow, he was a Managing Director for the Private Client Division of Detwiler, Fenton & Co.; Vice President at the JPMorgan Private Bank (Boston); and, prior to that, a Vice President at PaineWebber, Inc. He received his B.S.
in Electrical Engineering, with honors, from Northeastern University in 1973 and his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1976.
Mr. White is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
