Larry Oberkfell serves as a senior advisor to C.H.
Guenther & Son.
He has had a long career in the food industry marked with leadership positions at the senior-most level for a variety of organizations.
For the last 13 years, prior to stepping down at the end of 2021, Larry served as the President & CEO of IFMA, the pre-eminent trade association for food service manufacturers.
Larry joined IFMA in 2008 after successful leadership roles at several food industry companies including Schwan Food Company and Anchor Food Products.
He also previously served as a Managing Director at GESD Capital.
Larry is the recipient of the first Oberkfell Award, created and awarded in 2021 by the IFMA Board of Directors to recognize outstanding contribution to the industry.
As CEO at IFMA he served on the National Restaurant Association Board and was active in many industry-related groups such as the GS-1 Executive Committee, among others.
Larry is a graduate of University of Missouri and holds an M.B.A.
from St. Louis University.
