Martyn Briggs

Mr. Martyn Briggs is an Equity Strategist at Merrill Lynch International.
He joined the firm in a sector-specific thematic role in 2017, initially in the Automotive research team.
Mr. Briggs is also a Vice President in the Thematic Investing Strategy team and is based in London.
The team addresses long-term themes and issues from an opportunity and risk perspective, and via portfolio screening tools, with the focus on people, earth and innovation.
His work centered on the future developments in (e.g.) Electric Vehicles and Mobility Services.
Prior to this, he spent 12 years as an industry Consultant, heading consultancy Frost & Sullivan’s Mobility team, advising leading industry clients on their mobility strategies.
Mr. Briggs has a BA in Economics from the University of Reading.
