Nipon Poapongsakorn

Nipon Poapongsakorn is currently the Chairman of the Economics Association of Thailand, an Independent Director at Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Public Co. Ltd., the Director of the Thailand Productivity Institute, the Director of the Office of The Council of State, the Executive Director of the Puey Ungphakorn Institute For Economic Research, the Director of Thailand Science Research & Innovation, the Director of the Asian Society of Agricultural Economists, and the Director of the Foundation For Thai Rural Reconstruction Movement.
He previously served as an Independent Director at Thanulux Public Co. Ltd.
from 2016 to 2022.
Poapongsakorn holds an undergraduate degree from Thammasat University, a graduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University, and a doctorate from the University of Hawai'i at Hilo.
