Richard Gunthel

Mr. Richard Gunthel is Founding Principal at True North Management Group LLC, since 2004.
He currently sits on the Advisory Board of Maximus Advisors.
In addition, he serves on the Boards of the National Real Estate Committee, the Community Preservation Corporation in New York & Community Preservation Corporation Resources, Inc. He also serves on the Wharton Real Estate Advisory Board and the New York University Real Estate Advisory Board.
He is a trustee of Gettysburg College.
Previously, Mr. Gunthel was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Real Estate function of the Alternative Investment Division of Deutsche Asset Management.
He headed the Global Real Estate Investment Banking and Financial Institutions Groups at Deutsche Bank.
Prior to that, he was a Managing Director and Global Head of the Real Estate Finance Group at Bankers Trust (a Deutsche Bank predecessor company).
He first joined Bankers Trust in 1969, initially working in the Metropolitan Banking Department, later in the National Banking Group.
He formed the Real Estate Finance Group at Bankers Trust Company in 1983.
Mr. Gunthel received a B.A. from Gettysburg College and an M.B.A. from Hofstra University.
