Thomas Zwick

Dr. Thomas Zwick is a Research Associate at ZEW-Leibniz-Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung.
He has been a ZEW Research Associate since 2008.
Since 2013, he has been holding the Chair of Human Resource Management and organisation at the University of Würzburg.
He was full professor for Human Resource Management at Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich (LMU) from 2008 until 2012.
Between February 1998 and September 2008, he was a researcher (and since January 2008 the deputy head of department) at the Research Department of labour economics and human resources.
He studied economics at Regensburg University and Vanderbilt University (USA).
In December 1993, he graduated from Regensburg University.
Between February 1994 and January 1998, he was a PhD student at Maastricht University (The Netherlands).
In July 1998, he defended his dissertation on "Human Capital and Unemployment" in Maastricht.
In January 2006, he defended his dissertation on "Productivity Effects of Human Resource Measures" at Zurich University (Switzerland).
