Maxam Capital focuses on structured investments in both publicly traded and private Canadian-based companies with an investment sizes ranging from USD 4 - 12 million. It targets companies operating in the fields of manufacturing, retail, real estate, technology & financial institutions companies. It participates in a variety of opportunities including corporate divestitures of non-core assets, mezzanine loans, growth/ expansion, management led buyouts, recapitalizations, Non-traditional lending, acquisition financing, distressed debt, bridge loans and public market investments. It invests in common equity (either majority or control positions) depending on the circumstances.
