Edward Davis

Ed Davis joined White Deer in 2021 and is a Vice President of the firm.
His responsibilities range from strategy, origination, structuring, due diligence, execution, and monitoring of investments.
He is actively involved in White Deer’s Energy Transition strategy.
Prior to White Deer, Ed was director of corporate development at GE Current, helping launch, scale, and ultimately sell the LED lighting and IoT business from GE to American Industrial Partners.
Prior to GE Current, Ed held finance and corporate development roles at Renewable Energy Trust Capital and First Solar, where he helped close a combined $3 billion of financing for over 1GW of constructed utility-scale solar projects.
He began his career in oil & gas leveraged finance at J.P.
Morgan Ed received a B.A. in Government from Colby College.
He is currently a director of Unicat.
