Henkels is Founding Partner & Managing Director at Moelis & Co. LLC.
Mr. Henkels has several years of investment banking experience.
Before co-founding Moelis in July 2007, he was Head of the Industrial Growth and Services Group at CIBC World Markets.
While at CIBC, he built one of Wall Street's leading industrial banking franchises in metals and mining, capital goods, chemicals, aerospace and defense and building products.
Prior to CIBC, Mr. Henkels led the Global Basic Industries franchises at Merrill Lynch focusing on the steel and aluminum, capital goods and building products sectors.
Previous investment banking experience also included tenures at Salomon Brothers' and Smith Barney.
Mr. Henkels holds a B.A. in Accounting from Creighton University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
