CECP Advisors (CECP-UK) is the Great Britain-based venture capital subsidiary of global private equity investment group Carlyle Group LLC, ultimately held by the Carlyle Group LP (NASDAQ: CG) in the US. The group has additional offices throughout Europe in Barcelona, Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Milan, Munich, Paris, Stockholm and Warsaw. Formerly known as CECP Investment Advisors Ltd., the firm was established in 1997 and is based in London. They cooperate closely with Carlyle offices in Paris, Munich, Milan and Barcelona, sub-advising private equity funds for the parent group. They manage the Carlyle Europe Partners series of buyout funds, as well as venture capital funds, all domiciled in Luxembourg. Their international clientele includes public pension funds and agencies, financial institutions, high-net worth individuals and corporate pension schemes.
