Adams held several positions in different companies throughout his career.
He started as the Director of e-Commerce, Alliances & Marketing at Vinson Process Controls Co. LP in 1980 and worked there until 2011.
From 1995 to 2008, he was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Red Man Pipe & Supply Co. In 2011, he became the Senior VP of Business Development, Upstream & OCTG at McJunkin Red Man Corp.
The following year, he worked as the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at MRC Global, Inc. Mr. Adams received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas in 1979.
